This is a response to a message titled:
"Is it haunted?"
Your question about the "truth" of whether or not the hotel is haunted has been one that has been asked for many years. It depends on who you ask. There have been ghost hunters at the hotel who say that there are spirits and orbs found in the hotel and around the pond. People who have lived at the hotel and/or visited it frequently when it was inhabited will tell you that they never experienced any ghosts on site. I personally have never experienced any ghosts in all my visits to the hotel, but did take a picture that might have an orb - or a speck of dust - or light reflection on it - near the pond, so it depends on who you ask.
But that said, the site is closed to the public year round, and the ground level of the hotel is only open during the open house. b
